Confound it I need to get hold of mr. Tattoo to clarify whether� or not we have an appointment in November.�I canapos;t afford getting tattooed again until January (and neither can my�mental health ... Gah), and I�want to get clarification on�this point. Also, so he wonapos;t stress about getting a sketch done�before�the beginning of November.�I donapos;t wanna risk standing him up, either.�

I want this clarified, so I wonapos;t have it hanging over my head - having to deal with him again until January.

But of course, I canapos;t get hold of him. I�tried calling the tattoo parlor a couple of times, but no reply. I donapos;t wanna leave a message, and drown on their answering machine in teenagers wanting star tattoos and jocks wanting tribals. So what are the options?

1. Text him. And having to wait for a reply?�Nah.
2. Drop by there. Gods, iapos;m too lazy for that. I donapos;t wanna see him now if I can avoid it. :)�Besides, I donapos;t have the time to drop by the parlor.
3. Try calling again. Well, they rarely answer their phone.
4. Ignoring it. Well ... Standing up your tattoo artist wil NOT improve the designs youapos;re having made.

Gah, rarr. How annoying.

So I have a midterm friday, but since I will be gone for the MUA procedure, I have to go to school tomorrow morning (at the PBCC campus in Lake Worth) to take it before hand. No biggie right?

Well while I was in class today I over heard some people talking about a "special" guest speaker who will be at PBCC Lake Worth campus tomorrow morning...

Well I have no choice but to take it tomorrow because Wed there is no school for a "development day" and I leave Wed night and if I donapos;t take it before hand, I donapos;t get to take it at all. Why the hell canapos;t he do it Wed? Not only would it not be so crazy with the "normal" school day traffic, but I wouldnapos;t have to be there to hear him to ramble about a bunch of mumbo jumbo about "change".

There is going to be secret service, every news crew in the county, obama supporters and obama haters EVERYWHERE. The parking is going to be REDICULOUS .. On top of the normal school day traffic. I swear, if Iapos;m late to my exam because of him and fail this class ... HELL will break loose.

Iapos;ve been too busy over the past day or so to wrtie about New York, but now Iapos;m here and such. Sadly, I donapos;t have the effort to upload pictures right now. Laters.

So it was very cold waiting for the bus both times, and both times we had a double decker bus. But letapos;s keep this in chronological order, ok? So on the way up Emily slept for an hour or so, and then we tried to watch Dr.Who, but I forgot to put a few of the episodes on it. Sadly, the episodes were actually important to overall plots. So then we did stuff, like listen to each others ipods at the same time and see which songs went together well. And when we got to New York, some guy behind us was on the phone and reading exactly what a billboard said to the person he was talking to. In New York we did...stuff. We walked around, and attempted to go a museum, but the line for it was far too long. And then we went to central park Sorta We went to museum there. And it twas awesome. It had seals and polar bears and peguins Hurray Then we went to FAO Schwarz and Emily got a replica of a time turner. And while we were at lunch one of the screws came off and my mom went back and talked the people into exchanging it. While me and Emily took pictures with the guy outside. She erased mine :(. But you can see hers on twitter And then we went to the pokemon store Or nintendo store as itapos;s now called. I gots a large plush pikachu, the newer mystery dungeon game, and a small wailord for Becky. And then we got ice cream at a ben and jerryapos;s. And then we went to the bus station to head home. And the bus ride back was terrifying. First, on the Lincoln tunnel, it says "DO NOT SWITCH LANES". So, of course, half way through, our driver begins to start speeding and weaving through out lanes. Later, when weapos;re up on the higher up lanes, we start to come next to a large white truck, and the bus bumps into the side of the truck. The truck promptly sped away, and lived. Later still, our bus driver randomly slows down, parks on the side of the road next to a 50 foot drop onto another road. There was a gaurdrail, but that doesnapos;t really make you feel much better when youapos;re on a giant double decker bus. And so every car that passes makes our bus sway back and forth. Me and Emily were so freaking out, but no one else seemed to care. We started watching stuff on mah ipod and calmed down. Other than our driver continued to randomly speed and the bus bumped up and down a lot. And evantually we got home. :D And we were verys tired.

Morgann died. His whole family came to his funeral distant cousins, old relatives he hadnapos;t seen since he was a child all came. Morgann was young and had fallen from his horse, ruining his innards on a broken log, completely disemboweling him.

During the funeral mass, Morgann sat up. He was confused, though wide awake. The assembled mourners gasped, though the priest simply cocked his head and looked down from the pulpit.

"Morgann?"

Morgann turned to the father. "Father Ryan, how are you? What goes on here, father?"

"Well, Morgann, youapos;ve died. I think. Are you breathing?"

"...Canapos;t say that I am or am not, I never really notice lest Iapos;m swimming, father."

"Well, for certain I can say youapos;re dead, I helped look at your innards. You lay cold, unbreathing, no pulse, for a full week. Morgann, you are dead, lay down in that box and go back."

"But, father, I do not feel dead. Think this must be all one big joke on me."

Father Ryan sighed. "Morgann, look inside your burial suit, away from the crowd for modesty, look here."

Morgann turned toward the father in his coffin and opened his suit, and found that he had numerous stitches. "Whatapos;s this here, I had surgery?"

"Well, in a sense...look inside." The priest turned away slightly as Morgan pulled at the stitches. His insides, he found, were sawdust.

"Oh. ...Oh my. Father, I do think I am dead."

"Yes, yes Morgann, you are."

"...I got a last blessing?"

"You did."

"...Well, Iapos;m going to lay back down I suppose." He turned to the mass, covering himself again. "Love all of you. Sorry, sorry everybody for making such a scene, go on with the mass. See you all later now."

Morgann lay down, and the funeral continued without incident, aside from attempts to rouse fainted members of the parish.

So having tried to do this once before and getting no further than an aborted registration complete with shootings, stonings and evacuations - it was quite awesome to see food rolling out today. Yesterday we had an incident in one of the villages where money was taken from beneficiaries by the Community Leaders. We were able to intervene and with the police all the money was returned and a number of the people arrested - absolutely amazing to see such a response from the authorities here.

All of this was a great start off to today - tomorrow brings us into the heart of bandit territory here in Bossaso, pirates, human smugglers, hashish traders and the mix of desperate people waiting to go to Yemen. In my heart of hearts I will be most surprised if the distribution goes without some serious problems tomorrow. The physical space is quite limited and of considerable concern is that we will not have easy escape from the place if things go pear-shaped.

Ah well - let tomorrow take care of tomorrow.
